We are not independent and do not claim to be
Amplified Glow Reviews is owned and operated by Amplified Glow. The people who write this content are employed by the company that makes and sells these products. Editorial content here may support product sales.
We do not describe this site as independent, unaffiliated, neutral, third-party, impartial or a watchdog, because it is none of those things. What we can commit to is method, and this page is where that commitment is written down so you can check whether we keep it.
What our standards commit us to
- Products are not automatically assessed favourably. Where documentation is poor, the review says so — several reviews on this site do.
- Missing information is labelled "Not disclosed" or "Not verified" rather than filled in.
- Editorial assessments and customer ratings are kept separate and never combined.
- Reviews are not removed or rejected for being negative.
- Where an incentive was involved in a customer review, it is disclosed.
- Inconsistencies in Amplified Glow’s own published information are reported rather than smoothed over.
That last point is worth an example. Amplified Glow’s lavender shampoo page and its lavender bundle page state different bottle sizes. Its berry conditioner page appears to carry shampoo directions. Its Copper Peptide Renewal Cream FAQ references an ingredient not in that product’s disclosed list. All three are reported on this site because a reader deciding what to buy is better served by knowing than by not.
Editorial independence within an owned site
Editorial pay is not tied to product sales, review sentiment or customer ratings. Nobody on the commercial side approves an assessment before publication.
This is a structural commitment, not a claim of neutrality. You should still read what we publish with our ownership in mind — that is the entire reason this page exists.
Language we do not use
We do not make claims that a cosmetic product diagnoses, treats, prevents or cures anything. Specifically we do not describe any Amplified Glow product as regrowing hair, reversing hair loss, healing wounds, regenerating cells, repairing tissue, relieving pain, treating inflammation, or producing any medical outcome.
We also do not use "supports", "helps" or "designed to" as a way of making an unsupported claim sound acceptable. The underlying statement has to be accurate regardless of the verb.
Terms including FDA approved, medical grade, pharmaceutical grade, clinically proven, dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, organic, natural, vegan, cruelty-free, pregnancy-safe and non-toxic are only used where specifically verified and documented. Where Amplified Glow makes such a claim, we record it as a brand statement and label it as such rather than repeating it as fact.
